SAO PAULO, Brazil - A truck driver in southern Brazil had a narrow escape when his vehicle skidded over the guard rail as he crossed a bridge linking the states of Sao Paulo and Parana.
The lorry driver has been rescued after his vehicle was left hanging off a bridge following the accident. Aguinaldo da Silva was dangling for 25 minutes before passers-by were able to get a rope to him. The driver crashed when the car in front of him stopped suddenly.
